Happy New Year

As we enter into 2018, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the things we accomplished in 2017 and what we have in store for this coming year.  After launching Indrepta A and B in November 2016, we created a C version in March 2017 and quickly it became very popular.  In June 2017, we released TauriNAC.  Both of these products have increased in popularity each month.  More importantly we are hearing some very nice stories as to how these products have improved the health management of CF for many of you.  This was our primary objective when we started our crowdfunding drive in January 2016 for Indrepta.

Over the year we have had to develop more process as we have experienced problems with backorders due to the growth of the product.  This we apologize for and have made a concerted to not let this happen again.

We had a very nice fundraising event during September in the Sacramento, CA area which allowed us to meet some people in the northern California area and talk about the productivity our organization has.  As far as I know, we are the first CF patient group to manufacture products.  I hope to see other organizations bring their products/ideas to the CF world.  If nothing else I think we have learned that you don’t always need millions of dollars and 10 years to make a product.  And you don’t have to wait for big companies to provide solutions.

So what is happening in 2018?  We are continuing with the production of Indrepta and TauriNAC.  We expect to see a pilot trial of Indrepta during the year.  We also will see another flavor added to the TauriNAC line.  At the same time we are diligently working on an aerosol drug and a nasal wash.

I appreciate the support we have received from many of you.  Without your support none of this would have been possible.  If any of you can continue to support us and would like to receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donations, please go here to help out any way you can.  I wish all to have improved health as we continue with our battle against CF.  Happy new year.
